It is no secret that in times of unpredictability we turn to the familiar – throughout all areas of life and life-styles.
With the term “comforting” being a key word amongst trend analysts the design world is not surprised to see colour palettes and stylistic idioms
Reminding of the mid-century and early 70s. New Neutrals are an essential part of any decorative arsenal, ranging from warm tones, mildly old fashioned colours and – there is no way around it – pinks.
Browsing through 2018’s interiors it’s almost impossible to not stumble across pinks in all tones and applications. Used in monochrome looks, as seen in Normann Copenhagen’s Flagship Store
and its top-to-bottom candy pinks, applied in a more warm and subtile way on COR’s newly launched MOSS Sofa, or cooled down a notch, as seen in Campari’s Toronto headquarters and in ACNE’S Osaka Flagship Store, where pale pink acts as an dollop of sweetness in
the otherwise puristic and grey set up – pink actually is all around.
